The Granville Hotel Branding
The Granville Hotel in Waterford City is a family run business steeped in history. We were asked by the hotel to work on a rebrand of the the identity and coat of arm incorporating the hotel’s newly acquired four star status. Additionally we needed to establish a set of rules for the identity’s usage on all materials. The newly created coat of arms incorporates the 4 stars, the Irish Flag (the Granville Hotel was the first place the Irish Tri-Colour was flown by Thomas Frances Maher) and the location. Cream aimed to modernise the brand yet retain the old world elements which are reflective of the hotel’s heritage and charm.
